First, a little part of introduction, showing I am playing piano (the end of the Etude) I say: “Hi, My name is Jesse. Today, I am going to teach you how to play the Etude op 10 No.5, by Chopin in piano.” The video changes to teaching section. I say: “I will separate this music in 3 pieces. The first part is from here to here. The second part is from here to here. The third part is from here to here. So, now, I am going to teach you the A part.“The first thing that you should do before start to practicing this music is looking at the rhythm and the scale. This music is in 2/4 and the mode of this music is in G flat, so there’re 6 flat notes, B flat, E flat, A flat, D flat, G flat and C flat. In this music, there are a lot of notes on the right hand, so you should practice your right hand alone in a long time. On the left hand, there’re chords in a long distance, make sure that you play them accurately. Especially here, your right and left hand should play at the same time. And at the 16th bar, the right hand is E flat, D flat, if you don’t have a big hand, you should jump from E flat to D flat. Now I am going to demonstrate part A. “The part B is very similar to part A. The difficult part in B is from bar 58 to 63. You should be more careful about the left hand than the right hand, because the long distance between each chords on the left hand, so practice your left hand alone. Now I am going to demonstrate part B “Part C is like a conclusion in essays, and you should play this very strong. From bar 67 to 79, you should crescendo, from mf to ff. Pay attention to right hand; such as there’s a difference between bar 70 and bar73. The second chord on bar 75 has a long distance, so if you don’t have a big hand, you should play it in arpeggio. At bar 79 to 83, it is very difficult to play both hand evenly, and make sure that you play it accurately.“Now, I am going to teach you how to play bar 83. At bar 83, the 10 octave chords had made me sick. It was difficult for me. My experience of playing octave chords fast, accurately and strongly is using your wrist. Like when you are playing badminton, you have to use your wrist to smash the ball hard. This is very similar to that. You can practice this by holding your wrists like this. When you playing on the piano, it should be like this.” Demonstrate the whole music “Now I am going to demonstrate the whole music.” I am playing the piano. Conclusion part
