• Bright well lit location.

• Depends on the type and style of comedy

• Well populated area’s such as towns and cities

Technical Code

• The camera movement is very natural and follows characters smoothly as they move.

• High shots are possible to capture a scene/environment

• Use medium shots to capture expressions of characters

• Edit sounds In for comical effect

Iconography

• Bright colors are used frequently.

• Bright lighting and usually shot during the day

• Sports gear and items with a good possibility of having comic effect are often used e.g. a plan of wood (usually ends up hitting someone in the head, with the holder oblivious to it)

Types of characters

• Socially awkward people.

• Accident prone .

• There is usually one smart person amongst a load of stupid characters.

• Accidents seem to occur around the main characters.

• The characters will include one that seems out of the ordinary or left behind by normal society.
