Contents page Drawn Draft Explanation

Masthead- The masthead for the contents page will be the same colour and font as

the front cover masthead. This will reinforce the identity which I want to create for

my magazine.

Main image- For the main image, I am going to have an image of a male imitating a

pose from the lead singer from 30 seconds to mars, Jared Leto. This is a close up

image of my model looking side on at the camera with a straight, almost

expressionless face. For the clothing, due to the angle and closeness of the shot,

you won’t really see much of the models clothes. However, I he will be wearing a

greyish black jacket, maybe a denim jacket, with a blackish top underneath.

For the next image, I am going to have a female imitating the lead singer from

pretty reckless, Taylor Momsen. This is a medium close up shot of the model tilting

her head to the side, facing the camera. She will be wearing a light black leather

jacket, with an optional necklace to add to the “rocker chick look”.

Another image I am going to have is a medium long shot of a guitar. This is

because this is a very popular instrument associated with rock bands. This will be

tilted and placed at the bottom of the page near the contents section of the page.

Each of these images will have a shape in the bottom corner with the

corresponding page reference they relate to.

The background to the page will be a washed out colour (maybe of a recording

studio), to make it easier to see the text, or a solid dark purple/blue colour.

Contents- For the contents, I am going to have greyish rectangular boxes with the

text in black cold text. The ellipsis “…” is very effective as it urges the audience

to read on to find out what is enclosed in this issue of the magazine.
