He has touched the hearts of many from the Charedi and wider communities, whom he inspires through song. He performs regularly on the international scene and frequently spends one week on three continents to the pleasure of his fans who often have to contend with standing space only. Helfgott will be arriving in London on 18 January 2011 on a whistle stop tour during which he will be staring at Ezra U’marpeh’s Gala Dinner. He will be accompanied by Daniel Gildar from Philadelphia whose talent compliments Helfgott’s and who is able to arrange the musical accompaniment to accommodate any instantaneous changes or kvetches which Helfgott is famous for. In a sneak telephone interview, we tried to find out which songs Helfgott will be singing, however, he was absolutely firm, “Privacy is guaranteed,” he says, “ I will be choosing from favorites so no matter what taste you have, you will surely not be disappointed”. The Ezra U’Marpeh Gala Dinner will also be showing an exclusive visual presentation which has been artistically developed to accompany one of the soul stirring songs.
