Introduction

• It began as a popular dance of Valencia then simply tried to artistically finest castles and became popular in southern Catalonia on the year 1770, Today is the world Cultural Heritage and popular in all earth

Traditional songs

• Grallas and drums are the instruments that are played when building castles with the popular song ‘’toc de castells’’ and the end of the performance is a ‘’cercavilla’’ consisting of a spin playing Catalan folk songs.

Clothing

• castellers uniform for it: colored shirt casteller group, black colored band in the stomach and white pants.

Parts of castles

• The castles are 3 main parts, the trunk base and top, the base is formed by the pinya and sometimes by folre or manilles, the trunk is formed by people who are up to the castles and the summit that the acoixador that helps support l'anxenetathat is the person who raises his arm.

In my experience for me this tradition is much more to do simple castles for me is to be united, be a group, be happy and share happy moments with the people they want.
