Job description:
General Intern Opportunities Interns will get a chance to work and learn right at the heart of the most successful global music company, gain valuable experience and establish the start of their career in the industry. As well as duties particular to the department and specific projects, some general and regular responsibilities for interns include - preparing documents for weekly / ad hoc meetings, updating & managing contact databases, raising purchase orders for costs and invoices as well as general support for the department in terms of diary management, booking transport and ordering stock & stationery.
Contract: Internship, full time, 6 - 12 month
Skills Needed:
We are looking for self-motivated, hard working and enthusiastic individuals, with excellent communication, IT and organisational skills. Our interns also need to be able to keep calm under pressure and prioritise their own workload. ‘Music’ experience (personal or professional) and a knowledge of working in an office environment is preferable

Job description:
The A&R Department operates as the primary source of talent scouting and record making within Atlantic Records. It is A&R that allows us to locate and sign new talent and continue making records for currently signed artists. To assist the Executive Vice President of A&R in fulfilling all his A&R duties, as well as lend support with other departmental responsibilities
Responsible for scheduling all meetings for the EVP of A&R.
Coordinate PO’s and invoices for studio sessions.
Handle all urban artist travel and travel for the EVP of A&R.
Assist in researching for new acts and producers for Atlantic Records.
Act as a liaison between the label, artists and management companies that represent them.
Work closely with all departments including publicity, sales, marketing, product management, finance and legal.
Assist and participate in coordination of record production. Work with mixing and mastering engineers, studio managers and artists throughout the process.
Maintain and develop relationships directly with artists.
Coordinate various schedules and trips for artists.
Provide all levels of support including phones, expense reports, travel and studio bookings.
Maintain the Atlantic Record’s Studio Schedule & Engineer Schedule
Hire Atlantic Studio interns & oversee their work
Be Available late at nights and during weekends for phone calls and changing travel

ITunes. • Knowledge and relationships throughout the
entertainment field. • Aspiring A&R/ Label Executive
• Able to work music editing software • Able to communicate with bosses, artists, producers,
managers and lawyers. • Being punctual and making sure your bosses are as
well.
• Able to develop relationships with counterparts and coworkers.
• Proactive, multi tasking, approachable, superior communication skills.
• Knowledge of urban music
• Able to multi-task and respond quickly to emails and calls (including weekends)
Experience required:
Bachelors Degree. At least a 1-2 years work in
the music industry.
