One more ingrained of cultural expression in the Tlaxcala’s state (Mexico) is the celebration of the carnaval
Which characterizes by execution of different dances from origin nahua indigenous. To large extent of the population state organizes this festival agreement to uses and customs of each región.
The carnaval was introduced in Tlaxcala by the then province’s governor The Duke of Sn Roman approximately, from century XVII. In fact, in 1699.
The dances and music of carnival were created by the indigenous tlaxcaltecas from the assimilation made of the dances and music arrived from Spain between centuries XVI and XIX. Since they have been modified and adapted by the interpreters, trying not alter too much his original character.
