Shown below are the opening lines of something that is hugely popular in India, translated from its local language.

She blew like a wave of hot air ,she doesn’t get controlled by the family, this firefly has double the shine in its spark,

she is just a little heavier than the monsoonthere is a warning issued for the public, you take this responsibility,

she talks and gossips ,she hits her hands and never sits at the seat behind – ______________________________

Igor Yevgenyevich was born to a family of servants in Russia in 1923. By 1931 his family had moved to Moscow and by 1941 , Igor was admitted into the Soviet Army to fight World War II. He fought bravely as a shooter, and was also a draftsman and cartographer. He also earned many medals from the Army for his efforts. Later in 1945, he was demobilized due to health issues. He then decided to study and take science to a different level. To start off he graduated in physical and mathematical sciences from the Moscow Engineering Institute and then there was no looking back, inspiring millions to think smart and deal with situations, that’s what we know him best for. 3 Around two months back, several news world agencies including CNN found out

that the ________Collection is a line of men's dress shirts, suits, ties and accessories, all of which have been made by factories overseas, where labor costs are a fraction of what it would cost in the U.S.

Scott Nova, an executive director of Worker Rights Consortium, an independent labor rights group that investigates the garment industry, says there is one reason clothes are made overseas: cheap labor. Nova adds that "The competition is to find the lowest wages you can possibly get."

Due to _____’s recent widespread activity however, Macy’s has dropped the ___ brand. But you can still find _______signature brand clothes on the internet, though apparently at drastically reduced prices. CNN purchased several ______ brand items online including a $16.95 dress shirt made in Bangladesh, a $166.88 pinstripe suit made in Indonesia, and even a dollar-shaped tie clip made in China bought for $24!!

Just fill in the blank!

This visual was presumed to be a torture/execution device, sufficiently tall enough to fit a human being inside it.

While this device is placed in multiple museums in the world, it is ironic that these devices were less likely used for human execution.

This device however went on to become the inspiration for a famous metallic band’s name.

Observe the visual and tell me the metallic band that took its name from this device.

The Hanwha Eagles are a South Korean professional baseball club based in the central city of Daejeon. It is a relatively struggling baseball team, not doing very well in their baseball leagues.

However, this team came to limelight in July 2014, where the team found a novel way to charge up the atmosphere of its home matches since it lost a lot of its fans due to a huge number of losses. So to do this, they were able to organise a new set of “fans”, which while could not invade the pitch, but could cheer, chant and could even perform a Mexican wave! What was unique/special about these fans (or) what was the novel way?

Since actual fans never wanted to see the matches :P, the Eagles called for robots to sit in the stadium and replace those seats so that the atmosphere remains like in a normal match.

These robots’ movements could be controlled by those fans who weren’t somehow able to make it to the stadium.

The Vestal Virgins were ,in Ancient Rome , the priestesses of Vesta, the goddess of the hearth (fire place) and home.

The Vestals were selected at a very young age and were spared of the burden of getting married and having children in favor of pureness. They had to remain chaste for thirty years for service. After their service, they were free to marry and love. One of their main tasks was to keep the sacred fire lit and they also participated in numerous rituals and public ceremonies and letting this fire extinguish was a cardinal offence. Vestals convicted of such offenses were severly punished. Their secret lovers, whipped to death. How has the sacredness of this “offence” been immortalised and survives to this day?
