ShotsShots
Close Up – I love close ups because they always show detail in face. This is a screen print of a man who is disfigured and you can clearly see it by this shot
I wish to use this filming technique in my opening sequence because I like to portray emotion and feeling. So audience can clearly understand how a character is feeling and what they look like
In our opening sequence we will use this shot to show pain or misery.
Music
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V0eG0O9qNB4
In this scene they play non diagetic sounds to show emotion (Teddy’s Love for woman in his dream)
The music is very subtle, soft low key music. This makes audience feel emotion towards scene.
Lighting Lighting
Dark lighting usually represents isolation or evil
Completely isolated can portray bad atmosphere.

In this scene the moment (Georgie) is about to kill Paul. Diagectic sound is being played from the stereo Paul switched on right before the scene starts. This is to build suspense
and tension of the gun setting off. Which did not happen.
