Anzac Day is commemorated every year on 25th April in remembrance of the soldiers who served and died during the World War 1.

Gallipoli has very important meaning to the Anzac Day.

This year it is the 99th Anniversary for the Anzacs who landed at Gallipoli trip guide.

Many Tour operators offer attractive travel packages for 3 days, 5days,6 days,7 days, 15 days which covers service at Commemorative Site and other famous destinations.

There are many online tour operators who would offer you best packages to attend Commemorative site.

Things to keep in Mind

The weather at Gallipoli is different from the place you are visiting.

It is hot during the day and cold during the night.

The temperature during night may also go below minus 0 degrees.

So keep in mind to carry thermal wear, jackets, scarf's and as more of walking is involved, take along your shoes which you are more comfortable in walking.

Make sure you do not carry big carry bags as walking for almost 8 kms is involved.

Do not carry alcohol or opened bottles or any weapons or sharpen things as these things are not allowed.

Please make sure that you do not start your day drinking alcohol, as the security is heavy and does not allow people who have consumed alcohol.

When you select your tour operator ask them for a tour guide who can speak English and Turkish language.

If you are thinking to attend 100th Anniversary in the year 2015, then you have to start making preparations now as there would be limited entries at commemorative sites at Gallipoli.
