All the previous colored pages were penciled and inked by the same two guys. All the pencils, including the pencils only pages were completed by the same guy. Some of those page will have to be taken back to the pencil and inks stage so new colors can be applied which will make the transition between different scenes more seamless, mainly the ones dealing with Omega Man and his civilian identity, which is a celebrity doctor. Then in the context of the overall story, the villain who is hunting down the original team members is seen in his secret workshop where he has had Tin Man's head removed from the rest of his body and the body destroyed. The reason he is doing this is because before Tin Man was given his robotic body, he was a private detective and that was the reason he was attacked first. Effectively immobilized, the villain plans to interrogate Tin Man's head about the initial origin of the hero team and their fiercest opponents. At which a tale of three of the original team members is told. Back in the 90's Tin Man, Heavy Metal, and Velocity. A tale which eventually leads to the creation of the team's arch nemesis Mayhem. This part, which would be a substantial part of issue two is where the current two man team of penciler/inker and colorist/letterer take over.

Omega Man Omega-Man is the powerhouse of the group. He can fly at supersonic speeds, is amazingly strong, and his body and all internal organs are essentially steel hard. He is a being composed of pure energy. His agility is the highest humanly possible, and he perform physical feats at hyper-velocity. He does need to breathe, but his body processes are so efficient that he can go days between breaths. He also has an internal edge that allows him to dramatically increase any one of his super-human abilities at a time, and when he does, his eyes glow an eerie red. When he uses this edge, he can temporarily surpass his own limits . Omega-Man is a doctor and thus he has a strict code against killing. He will kill if there is absolutely no alternative, but he is loathe to do so. He always looks for another way, and he is in the hero business to save as many lives as possible. Omega-Man is the hero other heroes admire and look up to. He is compassionate, and highly intelligent. Besides The Extremist, Omega Man has consistently shown an ability to lead the heroes in most situations, and if most had a choice they would rather follow him than The Extremist, who is more pragmatic of the two. In his other identity, Omega-Man is Dr. Richard Korvac, one of the most renowned doctors and inventors of medical technology in the world. Only the members of the original team, which formed in Memphis, Tennessee, know his secret identity. However, most heroes have met Dr. Richard Korvac at least once, because he is one of the world’s best experts on super human physiology. In his Korvac identity, he tends to exaggerate his celebrity- doctor ego and is more abrasive and condescending around others.

The Extremist The first known records of the man who would later be known as the Extremist was as an operative for the United States government mainly used for extraction and assassination. After bad intelligence resulted in the deaths of twelve civilians, he decided to go freelance. Initially using the skills he developed to go after for organized crime in America, he quickly found himself mainly working for various major corporations. Looking to find employment that wasn’t so morally problematic for him, he came upon a story about a super villain called Dr. Solaris. Dr. Solaris was a scientist who had invented a suit that gave him solar-based powers. The article detailed how he had tried to kidnap a young woman whose father was the CEO of an industrial chemical company in the hopes of extorting $500,000. Luckily, two masked vigilantes managed to rescue the woman. It certainly wasn’t easy for the heroes though, as they both suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns for which they needed lengthy medical care. To make matters worse, Dr. Solaris managed to escape from his holding cell several weeks later. The Extremist went to the father and offered to permanently take care of the Dr. Solaris problem. Two weeks later, the man who called himself Dr. Solaris was no longer among the living, while the man who was about to start calling himself The Extremist was taking apart and carefully analyzing the solar-powered suit that Dr. Solaris had invented. Over the next five years, The Extremist managed to neutralize thirty enhanced criminals who had been labeled super villains by the media. It was also during this time he started filing patents on a range of various technological advancements. The most lucrative of these patents being a device that dampened the abilities of super-humans. Although it was not as powerful a dampener as Team Mayhem’s original WaveJammer, it was widely used by various law enforcement agencies and several Federal prisons. The Extremist is an expert when it comes to most technology. He also has developed an uncanny skill to quickly determine an opponent’s weakness or vulnerability. He uses this ability to give him an “edge” in ombat. Opponents find it particularly hard to hit him in combat. Over the years, he has used his knowledge of technology and his “edge” to become financially wealthy. He is also a collector of weapons. His collection has grown to rival some of the most diverse collections in the world. At one time, he was known to have three stealth bombers in his personal collection. He additionally collects weapons of a mystical nature. His fondness for collecting weapons is his only known vice. His primary weapon of choice when dealing with super powered opponents is the Omni Gun. It can fire projectiles that can easily pierce one inch thick reinforce steel, but it also has other limited capabilities usually having to do with exploiting a particular opponent’s weakness.

Power Line As a young teenager, Tommy Halwell came down with a mysterious illness that quickly left him partially paralyzed. His father was an investment banker who had gone into semi-retirement opening up a small commodities brokerage in Memphis, TN. With his son severely affected by a potentially terminal unknown illness, he sought out a research scientist and doctor named Richard Korvac to do the impossible and save his son. After a long series of extensive and highly complex tests, Dr. Korvac discovered that the boy was producing low levels of a unique electromagnetic energy which was not only severely disrupting his nervous system, but also was likely to be the key reason for the boy’s declining health. Dr. Korvac invented a small device that could be implanted in the boy which would regulate this energy and harmlessly dissipate it. The device worked well, but six months later an unintentional side effect manifested and the boy started developing telekinetic abilities. This eventually resulted in Tommy becoming a hero- in-training with Radiance. Powerline is a young man in his early twenties who is 5’6” in height as has a medium build. He is a powerful telekinetic who can fly as well as create blue-tinged force-fields and shields. At his upper level, he is able to lift a fully-loaded train car with his telekinesis and block most conventional artillery attacks. Over the years, Powerline has developed considerable skill when it comes to using his protective energy fields in wide variety of ways. As a hero, he wears a simple white and blue costume.

Her energy form is hot to the touch, and she can burn through steel in seconds if she chooses to.

Tin Man Tin Man was once a private detective working on a case with Dr. Richard Korvac, which involved international corporate espionage, when they found themselves caught in a deadly explosion set by enemy spies. Attempting to shield the good doctor as best he could, the man who would become Tin Man caught the brunt of the explosion, which left him so severely injured it necessitated that his brain be transferred to a special medical device Dr. Korvac had invented. This device, which has experienced several technological upgrades through the years, became the robotic body he now uses as a hero. Tin Man stands 6’7” and has glowing red electronic sensors for eyes. He can project blasts of energy from his hands. His robotic body provides him with superhuman strength, heightened resistance to damage, and limited rocket-fuel-based flight.
