Wreaths Across America will host ceremonies on 14 December .Volunteers will be placing wreaths at the graves of soldiers in designated sections at each of the two local cemeteries in the county following brief ceremonies that begin at 11 a.m. during which wreaths for each branch of the military will be laid.

Corvias Foundation-Scholarship & Grant applications are now available starting Nov 1st. Ten 4-

year scholarships will be awarded ($50,000 scholarships). Visit their website at:

2014 11:59 EST.

•Applications do NOT have to live in Corvias Military housing to be eligible. Open to

graduating high school seniors with a minimum 3.0 GPA at time of application.

Commissary Scholarships for Military Children- Opened on Dec 3, 2013. To get full details go

to www.commissaries.com or www.militaryscholar.org. Deadline to submit is Feb 28, 2014-

Keep in mind the scholarship needs to be in hand on this date: NOT POSTMARKED Date to the

commissary.

Elks Most valuable Student Scholarship: applications are available online at

www.elks.org/enf/scholars/mvs.cfm. For High School Senior can apply. Applications must be

received at JC Elks Lodge by 5pm on Dec 7th. See flyer below.
