Synopsis:22 Fillmore is a dramatic, fantasy-thriller that chronicles the life of Jeff, a desperate drug addict, gripped in a downward spiral, and haunted by images of his abusive Dad. After being served with an eviction notice, losing his job, being physically abused, and shot in a drug deal gone bad, Jeff ends up in the hospital.

After the police arrive, Jeff flees and overdoses on the “22 Fillmore” – a rough, inner-city, San Francisco bus line. His world is turned upside down when he enters a trippy, dream world and meets three enlightened guides from his real life. They whiz back and forth in time, to allow Jeff to witness his past and current life events from a new perspective. Jeff is faced with possible futures and must finally confront his Dad, his past, and his own mortality – all in a climactic crash! Will he be able to embrace these new lessons and find hope for his life?

VISION

Page 3: 22 Fillmore

PURPOSE“22 Fillmore” is a modern moral drama, which expresses hope for the individual and humanity. With startling power and beauty, it graphically explores post- modern and relevant themes of loss, abuse, addiction, recovery, and inner city gentrification. It is a unique journey, which focuses on the power of forgiveness, as a path to freedom. Rather than glorifying drug use and violence, it sheds light on the destructivepath of addiction and abuse, through taking responsibility for one’s life and actions. This story guides us to find a better way - a more hopeful way.

“22 Fillmore begs us to ask the bigger questions. How is that we’ve become so lost, individually, and as a society? What can I do to help those in need? Am I doing my part to promote change in myself, and others, to create a more positive world? The fantastical journey of the dream world parallels our own lives and our culture’srampant spiritual bankruptcy. This film explores the choices we make and how they all affect our lives and with the guidance and strength of others, we can seek to find the perpetual light, that burns in us ALL.Visualize a modern, gritty mash-up of “A Christmas Carol” and “The Wizard of Oz” – on crack!

THANK YOU

Strong story with a focus on forgiveness and redemption. This film rises above the current status quo of glorifying violence, drug use, and graphic images for gratuitous display.

The style concept is unique, with the combination of the insight in to recovery and abuse issues, this film explores the human condition on the spiritual level. The project’s foundation and strength is relied upon these elements and the whole package to deliver a superior cinematic experience.

It’s a journey of discovering hope. Urban realism MEETS enlightenment.
