Kiel Hauptbahnhof

Die Tonnendächer beim Hbf Kiel mussten bei laufendem Betrieb saniert werden. Aufgrund der beengten Platzver-hältnisse wurden die Profilbahnen bauabschnittsweise als gerade Profilbahnen ab Werk geliefert und dann auf der Baustelle mit einer mobilen Biegemaschine sofort auf den erforderlichen Radius von 123 m und 8 m (zwei Radien in einer Bahnenlänge) gebracht. Die Bahnenlänge betrug ca. 23 m. Die für ausreichend Tageslicht auf den Bahnsteigen erforderlichen Lichtbänder verlaufen jeweils in Profilbahn-richtung über den Firstbereich zu den Traufen. Die fachge-rechte Einfassung im RIB-ROOF Metalldachsystem ist im Foto links unten erkennbar.

2005 Central train station Kiel

The barrel-shaped roof of the central station Kiel had to be reconstructed at the same time as train service was in pro-gress. Due to narrowness of space at the site, the straight profile sheets were delivered ex works to the construction site, always depending on the current construction stage.At site the profile sheets were immediately curved by using a mobile curving machine. The necessary radius was 123 m and 8 m (two radii in one sheet) and the sheet was 23 m long. In order to have enough light to work, light-bands were mounted in direction from the ridge to the eaves. The professional bordering into the RR metal roof system can be seen on the picture in the left hand lower corner.

Wörtherseestadion KlagenfurtKlagenfurt ist einer von acht Austragungsorten der Fußball-Europameisterschaft 2008. Für dieses Highlight - das weltweit drittgrößte Sportereignis - wurde das Stadion auf 32.000 Plätze ausgelegt. Nach der EM erfolgt der Rückbau auf das Basisstadion mit 12.000 Plätzen.

Mit den zum Teil konisch bombierten RIB-ROOF Profilbah-nen beeindruckt die Dachhaut des Wörtherseestadion Klagenfurt durch seine signifikante Gestaltung. Architektonisch prägnant wird die Anlage durch die dyna-mische Überhöhung des Daches über der Osttribüne.

Football StadiumKlagenfurt is one out of eight venues for the European Football Championship 2008. For this highlight - the third largest sporting event in the world - the stadium has been designed for 32,000 seats. After the Champion-ship, the stadium will be deconstructed to the basis stadium with 12,000 seats.

With the partly conical curved RIB-ROOF profile sheets the roofing of the Wörtherseestadion Klagenfurt impresses with its significant design. The dynamic superelevation of the roof over the eastern stand makes the sports complex archi-tectonically incisive.

Im Stadtteil Kagran entstand durch umfangreiche Zu- und Neubauten das größte Eissportzentrum Österreichs. Mit dem schwungvoll verlängerten Tonnendach der großen Eishalle, sowie dem neuen Dach mit Fassade der Publi-kumshalle wurde eine Mixtur aus geraden und runden Dachformen realisiert. So kamen gerade, konische und bombierte RIB-ROOF Speed 500 Profilbahnen zum Einsatz. Besonderen Wert wurde auf einen makellosen Übergang zwischen den Glasfassaden und der Metall-Wandbe-kleidung gelegt. Für Wartung und Sicherheit wurden 130 Meter Laufroste und 46 Stück Einzelanschlagpunkte angebracht.

Due to extensive building extensions and new buildings in the district of Kagran Austria´s biggest ice rink center has been built up. With the energetic extended barrel roof of the large ice rink and the new roof with facade of the public hall a mixture of straight and curved roof areas has been realised. This way straight, conical / tapered and curved RIB-ROOF Speed 500 profiled sheets were used. Special attention has been given to an immaculate transi-tion between the glass facade and the wall covering. For maintenance work 130 meter of walk ways and 46 pieces fall arrest systems have been installed.

Flughafen Budapest

Die Besonderheit beim Bauvorhaben Flughafen Budapest ist das in die Fassade übergehende Dach, im Wechselspiel unterbrochen durch die Lichtbänder. Die 79 m langen Profilbahnen RIB-ROOF Speed 500 in Aluminium 1,2 mm RAL 9006 beschichtet, wurden vor Ort profiliert und im Radius, übergehend von 8,66 m bis 316 m bombiert. Ein ausgeklügeltes Logistiksystem war für die Fertigung der RIB-ROOF Profilbahnen, sowie für die Verhebung auf das Dach notwendig. Die anspruchsvolle Form des Gebäudes erforderte hoch komplexe, zu den angrenzenden Gewer-ken übergreifende Detaillösungen. Die 240 m innenlie-genden Rinnen wurden in Aluminium 3,0 mm ausgeführt, als Vorrichtung für die Fassadenreinigung wurden ca. 1 000 m Seilsystem für die Absturzsicherung verbaut.

Budapest Airport

One of the special characteristics of Budapest Airport is the transition of the roof into the facade by interplay of sky lights. The 79 m long profiled sheets RIB-ROOF Speed 500 made of 1.2 mm aluminium RAL 9006 white alumi-nium were produced and curved in a radius from 8.66 m to 316 m on site. For the production and the lifting onto the roof a sophisticated logistics system was necessary. The challenging design of the building required solutions for the highly complex details for bordering trades. The 240 m inside gutters were made of 3.00 mm aluminium. For the facade cleaning approx. 1 000 m rope system has been installed as fall arrest system.

Fußballstadion „Arena Lviv“

Das EM Stadion „Arena Lviv“ ist eines der renommiertes-ten Stadien der Fußball Europameisterschaft 2012. Unteranderem bei den zwei Vorrundenspielen mit der deut-schen Nationalmannschaft können 34 915 Fußballfans Platz finden. Für die Tribühnenüberdachung von ca. 24 500 m², davon ca. 11 000 m² konisch, wurden alle Profilbahnen RIB-ROOF Speed 500 vor Ort produziert. Der ukrainische Verleger wurde vom Zambelli RIB-ROOF Team mit baubegleitender Betreuung, Qualitätssicherung und beigestellter Spezialtraverse bei der Montage unterstützt. Die Supervision beinhaltete dabei schon im Vorfeld eine Mitwirkung bei der Ausführungsplanung mit Statik und Verlegeplänen. Damit hat das Zambelli RIB-ROOF Team einen wichtigen Beitrag zur termin- und fachgerechten Ausführung erbracht.

Football stadium “Arena Lviv”

The football stadium “Arena Lviv” is one of the most prestigious of the European Football Championship 2012. The stadium has a capacity for 34 915 football fans. The profiled sheets RIB-ROOF Speed 500 for the stadium roof of 24 500 m² were all produced directly on site. 11 000 m² of the roof are made of tapered / conical profiled sheets. The Zambelli RIB-ROOF-team supported the Ukrainian installer on site by providing: supervision during the construction period, quality control and with a special spreader beam.Before the construction period the supervision included the assistance regarding the detailed planning of the statics and layout drawings. The project was completed on time and in a professional way.

Fußballstadion impuls arena Augsburg

Das neue Fußballstadion mit knapp 31 000 Zuschauer-plätzen ist sowohl Heimstadion für den FC Augsburg, als auch einer der Austragungsorte für die Damenfußball-Weltmeisterschaft 2011.Die Unterkonstruktion für das sich über die Tribünen erstreckende Hangardach besteht aus einem Stahl-tragwerk mit wenigen Stützen und einer Trapezblech-Tragschale. Darauf ist das in den Eckbereichen konisch ausgeführte RIB-ROOF Gleit-Falz-Profildach aus Stahl mit Aluminium-Zink-Beschichtung als regenwasserabführende Dachoberschale befestigt. Aufgrund der Bahnenlänge bis 36 m wurden die geraden und konischen RIB-ROOF Speed 500 Profile vor Ort innerhalb der Stadionbaustelle auf dem späteren Fußballfeld profiliert (siehe Foto links unten) und von dort paketweise zur Montage auf die Dachfläche gehoben.

2009 “impuls arena” football stadium Augsburg

The new football stadium with nearly 31 000 seats is both; home stadium for the FC Augsburg (German football team) , as well as one of the venues for the Women´s football World Cup in the year 2011.The substructure of the hangar roof that stretches across the tribune is made of a steel structure with few pillars and trapezoidal boards. Onto the trapezoidal boards there is the RIB-ROOF standing seam roof installed. It is made of steel with an aluminium-zinc coating and at the corner areas the profile sheets have a conical execution. It serves as water draining roof surface. Due to the sheet length of up to 36 m the straight and conical RIB-ROOF Speed 500 profile sheets were produced directly at the stadium construction site which is now the football field (have a look at the link below). From there they were lifted to the roof in packets, ready to be installed.

2007 “SkyWorld Plaza”, Hamburg

The “Skyworld Plaza” is the centre piece of the New Hamburg Airport. Profile sheets 95 m long with a radius of 185 m are the main part of the spectacular barrel roof. They were installed without overlapping and without impact. The RIB-ROOF profile sheets in a special width of 600 mm and a material thickness of 1.20 mm were profiled and forced curved during the night when there was no air traffic. Because of the curved sheets, turned clips and clip bordes were used for the assembly of the roof.

Die „SkyWorld Plaza“ ist das neue Herzstück des Hamburg Airport. Das architektonisch eindrucksvolle Tonnendach der Shopping-Gastronomiemeile wurde mit 95 Meter lan-gen überlappungs- und stoßfreien Profilbahnen mit einem Radius von 185 Meter ausgeführt. Die 1,2 mm starken RIB-ROOF Profilbahnen in der Sonderbaubreite 600 mm wurden während der flugfreien Nachtzeiten mit einer mobilen Produktionsanlage auf der Baustelle profiliert und zwangsbombiert. Aufgrund der Bombierung wurden gedrehte Clips für die Montage der RIB-ROOF Bahnen und gedrehte Clipstangen für die Ausbildung der Festpunkte verwendet.

Tauern Spa World Kaprun

Herzstück der neuen Tauern Spa World in Kaprun ist das Metalldach. Architekt Peter Todorov nennt es „die fünfte Fassade“. Die mondförmige Gebäudegeometrie erforderte konisch zulaufende Profilbahnen. Diese wurden mit einer Länge von bis zu 30 Metern ohne Querstoß verlegt. Die Traufe wurde mittels breiter Kantteile realisiert. Die Auskragung beträgt am höchsten Punkt des Gebäudes 15 Meter. Um den Schneefang dezent platzieren zu können, wurde dieser als Sonderanfertigung ohne Beein-trächtigung der Funktionalität schräg zu den Profilbahn-stegen verlaufend ausgeführt.Als Material wählten die Architekten Aluminium mit einer Farbbeschichtung in RAL 7011 eisengrau. So sind Lichtre-flexionen praktisch ausgeschlossen und die helle Farbe passt Sommer wie Winter zur umliegenden Landschaft.

2010 Tauern Spa World Kaprun

The heart of the new health resort “Tauern Spa World Kaprun” is the metal roof. Architect Peter Todorov calls it “the fifth facade”. For the moon-shaped building geometry tapered profiled sheets with lengths up to 30 m have been installed without transverse joints. The eaves has been realised by using broad flashings.At the highest point of the building the overhang is 15 m. To place the snow guard system discreetly the compo-nents were produced in a special way and were fixed onto the tapered sheets without any interference regarding the function of the snow guard system.The architects have chosen the material aluminium colour coated RAL 7011 iron grey. So that light reflection is almost impossible and the light colour fits the landscape during summer and winter time.

Wien „Skylink Vienna”

Für das Tonnendach der Terminalerweiterung des Flughafens Wien mit seiner signifkanten „sichelartigen“ Grundrissgestaltung waren größtenteils konische und bombierte RIB-ROOF Profilbahnen erforderlich. Das One-Roof-Concept verbindet den neuen Terminal mit dem neuen Pier und den älteren Gebäudeabschnitten. Die Profilbahnen aus Aluminium stucco-dessiniert mit einer Länge von 53 m und einem Radius zwischen 38 m bis 165 m wurden auf der Baustelle profiliert und bombiert. Auf den Profilbahnstegen wurde durchdringungsfrei ein Personen-Absturzsicherungssystem installiert.

2007 Vienna Airport “Skylink Vienna”

For the barrel-shaped roof of the Vienna Airport mostly conical and curved RIB-ROOF profile sheets were used. The building project was called “expansion of the terminal are-as”. For the sickle-shaped roof, profile sheets of aluminum stucco-design with a length of 53 m and a radius between 38 m and 165 m were profiled and curved on site. The “one-roof concept” connects the new terminal, the new quay and the older parts of the buildings. Onto the ribs of the sheets a safety harness system was installed.
