• Deteriorated urban context

• Abandoned park

• Architectural heritage losing value

• Deteriorated and saturated Urban space

• Uneffective transport corridor

• Buses with low level of service

• Saturated Metro

• Poor general image

• Bicycles are excluded

• Limited accessibility

• Low quality transfers

• Great opportunity

• Vision shared by key public organisms (mayors, ministers,, Metro, public transport agency)

• Integrated payment system

• Available space for a high quality project

• Bus fleet renewal is ad portas

• Seggregated busways operating in the median lanes. Buses with doors on both sides.

• Foster passenger exchange between different modes , always giving non motorized

modes priority (specially pedestrians).

• Provide bus stations and operate express servicess.

• Increase operational speed by 50% through seggregating bus operation. Increase

capacity in 50% (to 30,000 pax/hr/direction).

• Build high quality public space fostering intermodality and ensuring inclusive, safe and

active urban space.

• Create a dialogue between the public transport corridor and the urban space.

Bucles

Existirán servicios que requieren retornar

antes del término del corredor, por lo que

se hacen necesarios bucles que permitan

evitar re-ruteos excesivos.

40

¿Por qué implementar bucles?

Puntos de regulación

Para aquellos servicios que regresan antes

del término del corredor, permite

regularizar su frecuencia y otorgar zonas

utilizar los espacios destinados a los
