Why?
To determine if there is any internal
migration of liquid or gas up the surface
casing vent.
Vent leaks can happen anytime during the
life of the well.
Vent leaks may be liquid or gas. The AER
views liquid vents generally as serious.
Proper build up testing must be done to
ensure stabilized pressure that doesn’t
exceed 11 kpa/m.
Surface Case Vent Testing Bubble test must be completed 90 days after drilling. Contact SSI for a free bubble test kit.

Remote AccessSurface Solutions can access sites with quad or side x side in very remote areas. Or in
some cases, by helicopter.
Surface Case Vent TestingIn some cases surface casings produce gas and liquid simultaneously. SSI has 400 l plastic
knock out tanks to separate test fluid.
