Rotec Engineering in 2010 purchased a leading tool making company and relocated both its staffand plant to its solely owned Evesham site.

Today our tool shop is manned by 5 experienced tool makers who are long served within theengineering industry.

Via a combination of Vertical, Horizontal Mills Lathes and Surface Grinders their is little that we cannot manufacture for our customers.

Our tool makers work for acombination of design houses requiringone off components for unique plantand machinery they are using.

We also use their skills combined with our inhouse designers to create mechanical ,pneumatic, hydraulics fixtures for welding,machining, assembly lines, and inspection.

A solution that offers quick and easy access to yourideas, enabling proof of concepts, and visualisation ofyour designs. Send us your models in a “STL” fileformat and 3 days later you will receive your partcreated from ABS polymers that offer a level ofstrength and robustness, via a technique that candeliver accuracies of 150 or 400 microns dependingupon your application.

CAD / DESIGNWorking with a variety of customers we find that wecan support them, by creating drawings that formalisetheir designs prior to machining.

Or for customers who have their own in house CADengineers, we can seamlessly transfer information andbe able to add value to the design advising on how theeasy of manufacture, achieving efficient and economic

Extending our CAD capability we have invested in the latestsoftware to allow us to work from a solid model quicklygenerating a CNC program, and with PC DIMOS generateCMM Inspection programmes.

In working from the customers original model it removes theopportunities for errors and allows for the most complexparts to be handled quickly and more efficiently.

You want it in a particular colour then no problem choose from the range of primary colours below.When your design has progressed and you need to move to a fully machined metal or plasticcomponent then we have a cost effective solution via our 5 axis CNC milling centres or thetraditional tool maker.

Rotec is now able to offer its customers a one stop shopcombining the flexibility of a fabrication shop with theprecision of CNC engineering.

Our Lloyds approved coded welders are able to offer MIG /TIGwelding on large or small items, working with Steel, Aluminium,and Stainless Steel.

In our dedicated Fabrication shop we also braze machined partsfor clients removing them the need to track their parts throughnumerous third parties and reducing lead time.

For many clients we provide a one stop shop providing themwith a finished and assembled, tested product. Allowing themto concentrate on their business and customers.

Via our established supply chain we regularly buy bearings andfasteners to suit these projects, and are able either ourdiscounts to our customers while taking the stress off ma agingthe stocks of parts and sub assemblies. Ensuring our clients arereceiving a competitive price for the finished unit.

We like to develop long term relationships with our clients. Oneway we do this is to allow them to benefit from a better pricefor purchasing a larger quantity than they need at the point oforder, then allowing them to call these parts of from us over 6or 12 months.

For some customers we also provide a KANBAN servicereplenishing stock bins in line with their instructions.

Rotec Engineering has grown considerably over the recent years , with heavy investment in the latestmachines and 8 million total investment. Due to the expansion and the success of Rotec we have outgrown our current premises and are currently in the process of having a state of the art purpose builtfactory built on the same site.

Here at Rotec we believe strongly in education, training and giving the right opportunities. Theimportance of apprenticeships and training the engineers of the future is key to British manufacturing,as a company we saw a gap between good academic and work experience so decided to open our owntraining academy called META. META works in connection with the South Worcestershire College andprovides a unique combination of academic and work qualification and experience.
