Giving life to the assembly of parts is the most complex task, accomplished through the incorporation of sensory feedback, micro-controllers and electronic actuation. It takes immense brain storming to choose a particular control system with sufficient power availability for smooth working of an efficient system. Electronics and communication technology is the heart of any system. Basics of robotic design, structure and stability lie in the knowledge of core mechanical engineering. A roboticist needs to take into consideration the dimensioning, limits, fits and tolerances that make a model completely flawless. Accurate calculations of force analysis of a structure and then the torque requirement to accelerate a link are possible only with the clear concepts of robotics.
