Quantity Survey Of

CONCRETE FRAME STRUCTURES

Frame structures are the structures having the combination of beam, column and slab to

resist the lateral and gravity loads

Excavation• Up to 30cm depth excavation is measured in square meter• More then 30cm excavation is measured in cubic meter• Working area is taken 0.6meter on each side• Side Slope assumed 1 in 200

Footing (PCC)• PCC quantity measured in cubic meter• Shuttering of PCC measured in square meter• Edges of slabs and breaks in floors and walls (shuttering) under 20 cm wide measured in

metre

Foundation (RMC)• Concrete quantity measured in cubic meter• Shuttering of Foundation measured in square meter

Pedestal and Column• Concrete quantity measured in cubic meter• Shuttering quantity measured in square meter

Back Filling• Back filling is measured in cubic meter• BF = Excavation- PCC(Footing) - RMC (Foundation, pedestal) +

filling in plinth

Reinforcement (Bars)

• Bars are measured in length and by multiplying with its area (acc. to size) we get volume

• Multiplying volume with density of steel (7850kg/m3) we get weight of steel

In this type of BBS You have to put dia. of bar, cutlength of bar, shape of bar and remaining calculation can be done automatically
