PARALLEL HOUSE WIRING
MAJOR ASSIGNMENTELECTRICAL
AIM INTRODUCTION MATERIAL USE CIRCUIT DIAGRAM RESULT
CONTENTS
Our aim is to prepare an electrical
simulation project explain the parallel house wiring of electric equipment on simulation by connecting fan, tube light , bulb etc. as a load in 220 volt single phase AC current with frequency 50 Hz .
AIM
AC circuit 1. Rules and laws developed for dc circuits apply equally well for ac circuits2.Analysis of ac circuits requires vector algebra and use of complex numbers3.Voltages and currents in phasor form
Expressed as RMS (or effective) values
INTRODUCTION
AC Parallel Circuits1.Impedances in parallel add together like resistors in parallel2.These impedances must be added vector ally3. Whenever a capacitor and an inductor having equal reactance are placed in parallel
Equivalent circuit of the two components is an open circuit
INTRODUCTION
Household Wiring
is in Parallel
Which connecting wire, A, B, C, D, or E, will be the first to become dangerously hot if too many appliances are turned on?
How can overheating be prevented, even if all the appliances in thehouse are turned on
In this circuit , we have connect one AC
source, one fan, tube light , bulb as a load in 220 volt single phase AC supply with frequency 50 Hz .
Software use for simulation Proteus.Professional.7.6.SP0
Material use
Circuit diagram
By the help of our circuit we are able to find
out how circuit elements like fan work in our home.
And if we connect a volt meter or an ammeter in our circuit we are also able to find out the current and voltage drop across each circuit element .
