1984 A brief history…

MWA continues to expand their in-house technical department as well as their outside sales force and system integration team.

MWA currently has close to 40 employees and continues to expands its business.

Hans Wolf starts his rep company, Marshall Wolf Associates. MWA started by representing United Electric Controls.

Marshall Wolf Automation continues to grow and shifts focus to distribution after representing UEC, ABB, Keyence, Dickson Co. & Omron

Kathy, Hans’ wife, takes over accounting, inventory and shipping. They add three part-time employees (not including their children!) and convert their garage into a warehouse.

Hans and Kathy outgrow their office building and purchase an old house that they convert into an office. They also build a 5,000 square foot, two story warehouse behind the office building.

www.WolfAutomation.com enters the e-commerce world!

The Sales and Marketing building is completely renovated. MWA organizes into three focus groups; outside sales, e-commerce and a system integration and engineering division.

Hans and Kathy continue to be active in as CEO and CFO, respectively. Tina (Hueppe) steps as Director of Operations, Karin works in Accounts Receivable/Human Resources and Jonathan is the General Manager.

The Panel Shop is acquired to house our systems integration and engineering group.
