LPG LIQUID CONTROL VALVE

MECHANICAL OPERATION

REASONS WHY OUR LPG VAPORIZERS ARE EXCLUSIVE AND INNOVATIVE

Actually most of countries have norms to use safety devices to avoid LPG liquid phase in grid

distribution.

Normally the solution is to use solenoid or pneumatic valves:

• solenoid valve have to be Eexd certified, they need specific plant and electric switchboard;

• pneumatic valve need air compressor and specific plant

OUR LPG VAPORIZERS DON’T NEED ALL OF THIS

Page 3

Most of our competitors produce lpg vaporizers with a gas chamber built-in that can be filled by

LPG in LIQUID phase: a float valve is necessary to avoid LPG liquid phase in grid distribution

OUR LPG VAPORIZERS DON’T NEED ALL OF THIS

All our lpg vaporizers have installed an

EXCLUSIVE and PATENTED

CONTROL REGULATION VALVE

TOTALLY MECHANICAL

The flow of gas happens by our patented control regulation valve, mounted at the inlet of the

vaporizer (liquid phase)

Page 5: Lpg liquid control valve mechanical operation

Page 5

It works on the basic concept that, reaching a certain temperature, the LPG enters a gaseous state.

The liquid LPG:

• coming from the tank

• enters into the valve

• passes through the filter

• comes to the shutter which is closed.

If the temperature of the water leaving the exchanger is recorded as being > 50-55°C, the

expansion of the bellows will make the shutter open and let the gas enter into the heat exchanger.

As the user’s requirements vary so does the temperature of the water and consequently also the

opening of the shutter.

Page 6: Lpg liquid control valve mechanical operation

Page 6

If the need for gas should exceed the heat exchanger’s rating:

• the temperature of the water leaving the exchanger will fall

• the bellows will make the shutter close to reach an equilibrium “GAS FLOW = HEAT

REQUIRED”

This system excludes any possibility of taking up gas in a state close to its re-liquefying.

If the requirement for gas was nil and the water temperature remained within the values which

would ensure evaporation, the pressure within the heat exchanger would increase and push the

gas towards the tank, bringing the system back into equilibrium.

ADVANTAGES OF OUR LPG VAPORIZERS

GENERAL

• certified by relevant third party

• 100% Made in Italy

• wide range of capacity

• simple and easy-to-conduct equipment

• some electrical preheated models can be shifted to boiler fed version

SAFETY

• control valve does not require electrical power supply

• control valve is normally closed: it stops the gas in case of failure

• control valve is equipped with rubber shutter that closes against a metallic seat: this

solution assures perfect sealing without leakage. Other manufacturers use instead a

metallic coupling which requires to be maintained clean

• control valve does not need manual reset

• control valve is installed external from the vaporizer: this allows maintenance or eventual

replacement

• in case of failure, no liquid LPG can be trapped inside the vaporizer. Avoids dangerous

overpressure

WORKING MAINTENANCE

• quick installations: control system does not require any electrical or pneumatic supply

• “onlyoneunit” versions available, with the whole equipments already mounted, wired up

and tested

• instruments and electrical heater are separately replaceable

• low maintenance and cheap spare parts

• pull-out nest of tube for allowing maintenance (Vapeg model)
