INTRODUCTION

Textile and garments sector is the biggest and fastest

growing sector in Bangladesh. There are about 4500

garments factory running in Bangladesh . At present

Bangladesh is producing and exporting more then 60

items of garments . Garments are exported to USA,

CANADA, JAPAN, ASTRALIA, MIDDLE EAST,

and many other countries in the world. Cheapest labor

cost is the biggest advantage for Garments producers

and exporters.

FACTORY DESCRIPTION

The Opex and Sinha Textile Group is a composite textile

manufacturing complex built on an area of 43 acres of land at

Kanchapur, about 20 km away from Dhaka . It comprises of

28 companies with 170 standards production line . The main

product of Opex are in both woven and knit fabrics such as

shirt, T-shirt,polo shirt , pant,short,jacket,sportsware,sleep

wear,ladies wear,fleece items etc.Otherwise it has 16 line of

Denim RMG production.

MERCHANDISER DEPARTMENT

Merchandising is one of the most important part for

garments trade. Without merchandising this trade

never fulfill. Merchandiser deals or handless all the

things from buyer to production . After getting an

order, merchandiser calculate all things such as time,

cost, benefit . Merchandiser deals with buyer's about

order approved and comments.

At last, we can say that, merchandiser is the heart of

garments trade.

CONCLUSION

Now a days, Textile field become very competitive

and the buyer wants 100 % quality product . For this

reason it is very important to know about the latest

technology in textile sector . To produce a quality

product , as a textile engineer we collected a vast

knowledge from Opex & Sinha Textile Group.
