Electro-magnetic interface (EMI) is the disturbance that affects a
circuit due to electromagnetic induction or radiation that is
produced from external source. It is also known as RFI that is
Radio Frequency Interface. It is also used to suppress the
conducted interface that is generated by any equipment or circuit.
