SWORD OF HONOUR

• In 1989, the British Safety Council awarded the Sword of Honour to Galfar in recognition of the Company's dedication and its achievements in safety.

SHELL APPRECIATES GALFAR

• Galfar's performance in Health, Safety & Environment-related activities is now legendary! The Company probably has the highest Safety record in the Middle East. This was made possible by the total commitment of the Galfar Management and all personnel and a strong belief that "Safety is a way of life!"

• Shell's EP Safety on April, 1987, recognized Galfar's achievement of 5 Million Accident-Free Man-hours in a wide range of construction activities for PETROLEUM DEVELOPMENT OMAN (PDO), a Shell-managed company.

ROYAL HONOUR

• Dr P Mohamed Ali being presented with the prestigious Oman Civil Order of HIS MAJESTY SULTAN QABOOS BIN SAID in recognition of exemplary service to the Sultanate of Oman.
