On August 28th, 2013, the Ministry of Science, ICT, and Future Planning awarded Samsung C&Tthe Minister Prize for outstanding achievement. With the introduction in 2002 of concrete with a design strength of 80 MPa, Samsung C&T has continued to innovate and push the boundaries of concrete strength. Now, with Samsung C&T preparing commercialize 200MPa super high strength concrete for construction projects, the world is a step closer to realizing a 1mile-tall ultra high-rise.
