Aims of CURVES
Project emerged from Gagarin-55 4K movie, created by international partnership: ● CSEO (Cyprus) ● IVC (Germany)● MINElab (Taiwan) ● Sky-Tex (Germany)● Ineco (Cyprus)
Roots of CURVES
CSEO was founded in 2012 by key international people in industry and academia. It promotes scientific research and development in the field of space exploration, and enhances and actively develops the local space industry, leading to the advancement of high-tech industry and collaboration with other space-faring nations in scientific, space and planetary missions.

Cyprus Space Exploration Organisation
● MarsSense Technology: A planetary exploration system using Wireless Sensor Networks to relate geological and atmospheric data of planets-In collaboration with the Networks Lab @ the University of Cyprus. Awarded at the SpaceOps 2014 conference, hosted by NASA/JPL.
● Project StratoCy: Multipurpose, autonomous Stratospheric Platform for Earth Monitoring and scientific experiments in stratospheric environment. In collaboration with the Frederick University of Technology Cyprus.
● Cubesat Project: A CubeSat constellation group in collaboration with the NASA Ames Research Center, the San Jose California State University.
● Arachnobeea Project: An innovative quad-copter drone destined for usage in space vehicles. NASA awarded the Cypriot team as the international winner for the "Best Mission Concept" of the 2015 International Space Apps Challenge. R&D will continue on the project in collaboration with the Robotics Laboratory of the Cyprus University of Technology.
● 1m Robotic Observatory: First Cypriot observatory based on the mountain in clear dark skies location. Activities: Detection of NEOs (Near Earth Objects) and used in robotic telescope network for automatic observing of urgent targets of high scientific interest, such as supernovas in collaboration with ESA’s NEO Coordination Centre. Detection of Exoplanets (in collaboration with Planetary Society and Imperial College). Search for Optical SETI signals in cooperation with the SETI Institute. Astronomical research of comets and other celestial objects.
