Definition:
A Bourdon tube is a way of measuring pressure. Probably every mechanical dial-type pressure gauge you've ever seen is based on a Bourdon tube. Our goal here is to understand the physics of how it works.
Types of different Bourdon Tubes
Spiral Type C type Helical Type
Range:
Low range 10 –100kpa Medium range 100 – 5000kpa : High range 5000 – 20000kpa
Applications of the bourdon tube pressure gauge:
For gaseous and liquid, also aggressive media for demanding high purity applications, also in aggressive ambience
For all HP (high purity) applications Semiconductor and flat panel industry Gas distribution systems Hook-up application
Special Features of the bourdon tube pressure gauge:
Helium leak tested Electro polished case
