Introduction• Today car wash system is shifted towards automation

from manual.• These systems are costly and require periodic

maintenance.• Pakistan is an under developing country where people

cannot afford much cost of car wash.• This design will be low cost and efficient car wash

system, which does not require periodic maintenance.• This system will be purely electronic and motorized

not hydraulic.

Problem Statement

We are going to design the automatic car wash system.

Why Automatic Car Wash System

We are going to design this system because we have following benefits from this system.• To save the time of operation.• To save the cost.• To save the cars from rashes. • To increase the efficiency.

Working

Vehicle stops on car moving platform

Presence sensor detect the car and motor drive the

conveyer belt

As car move forward on conveyer belt a sensor detects

and water & soap is sprayed on car respectively

At Next station another sensor when detects the car and 3 brushes one at top and

2 on sides starts rotating

After that at next station another sensor when detects,

the rinsing process will happen

Then car will be moved on next station as conveyer belt

continuously moving.

At next station 5th sensor detects the car and dryer starts for drying purpose

Then last sensor that will be placed at the end of conveyer

belt if detects the car then conveyer belt will stop.

When conveyer belt stops then a green light will turn

on, which indicates the driver that washing process is

completed and you are free to go .

Project detail

The project consist of two parts • Electrical • Mechanical

Electrical

The electrical part consist of following components • Sensor for detection.• Motor driver circuits.• Blower operation circuits. • Electronic valves operational circuit.• Gear motor.• Main Power supplying Unit.• Battery charging circuit.

Mechanical

The mechanical portion consist of following components • Conveyor belt and its platform.• Aluminum stand structure.• Water storage tank and plastic pipes.• Blower mechanism.• Sensors and circuits housing for water proof.
