Goal:
Who is Contributor?One who give or add something which
is beneficial to the society according to
the law are said to be contributor.
Contributors are full of Human values
and effectiveness.
1. Wide thinking and effectiveness.
2. Human values to help common citizen .
3. Engaged in work focusing on ‘we’ not ‘I’.
Introduction
In every work, every role, there is a possibility of contributing at multiple levels –
1. contributing to self, 2. contributing to organization, 3. contributing to society.
This presentation is explaining how you can contribute at multiple levels in your career.
Contributing to Self
“An individual who “Contributes to Self” not only performs activities, but also tries to systematically develop his/her own self
through these activities”
Contributing to Society
“The Contributor not only performshis/her activities or duties, but also tries to
achieve the ‘purpose’ behind all these activities.”
True Story:
IN Ahmedabad before a year ago:
There was a Auto rickshaw driver
taking people to their place.
Once a passenger forgot his bag
in auto.
After dropping him driver found
that he missed something.
He found a small packet, having
real diamonds worth Rs. 5 Lacks.
At the same time his mother was
very critical, she needed an
operation but he couldn’t arrange
money for that.
Though having this situation he
went to the police station & told
them about this incident.
Police found that passenger &
give him the diamonds.
The passenger give him money
for his mother’s operation.
HOW CONTRIBUTOR FOCUS ON “VALUE” ?
Contributors focus on “value” of products or
services while non contributor focus on
“attributes” of products.
Contributors focus on the “value” of
experience while Non-contributors focus on
the “cost” of experience.
Contributors focus on the “value” of doing
the right things while Non-contributors focus
on the “rewards and punishments” of doing
the right things.
