manual entries of measurements and parameters, energy accounting, alarms, reports, system management

(implementation of the system).

MePIS Energy Basic

Version 1.0 (based on MEB 1.6).

Suitable for basic energy monitoring, energy accounting, alerting and reporting.

In comparisson to MEB it doesn‘t include some advanced features: control panel, KPIs, energy performance

certificate, M&T Cusum, weather analysis and schedule analysis.

It allows you to upgrade to Mepis Energy Buildings.

Business Unit:

Business unit is a fraction of a building where energy consumption monitoring and analysis is being

performed. Business Units represent organizational elements in an ISA 95 model of a building.

Typical building consists of several Business Units.

Tag:

1 tag represents 1 measurement or 1 calculation in MePIS Energy. Usually, if there are no

specialties, the ratio of tags per business unit for buildings is around 10.
