Expectations: Work alone. Limited talking. Stay on task. Pick which activities you want to do. Put your work on a keynote. Keep all your levels organized on the slides. (Have a level 1 slide(s), level 2 slide(s), and a level 3 slide(s). Have your name on the first slide. Keep your points for each activity on the slides as well. Put your final points for the third day on the last slide. You will have permission to go to see any poster you need in order to complete your activities. Some activities need no explanation and some formats can be found online.
LEVEL 1 (7 pts)- List 5 events leading up to the Revolutionary War. (1 pt)- List 10 figures associated with the Revolutionary War (1 pt)- Create and answer 5 level 1 questions associated with the Articles of
Confederation(who? what? when? where?) (2 pts)- List 10 battles of the Revolution (1 pt)- Import 5 maps to your keynote which portray the settings of any events during the
Revolutionary period. (1 pt)- Pick a picture associated with the Boston Massacre. Describe the picture in a
complete sentence. (1 pt)
LEVEL 2 (36 pts)- Complete a diamante poem comparing the British and Americans . Research the
format.( 5 pts)- Complete a haiku dealing with the Boston Massacre. Research the format. (3 pts)- Go to revolutionarywarantiques.com. Find an artifact and then complete an Analyzing
Artifacts activity. (3 pts)- Pick a map associated with the Revolutionary War. Use it to complete a Reading and
Interpreting Maps activity. (5 pts)- Complete a Frayer Model on Daniel Shays. ( 4 pts)- Complete a Learning Frame on what you have done over the past 2 weeks. (3 pts)- Complete a cinquain on Thomas Jefferson (4 pts)- Pick a quote dealing with the Revolutionary War and complete a Say Feel Chart (3 pts)- Compare and contrast the Declaration of Independence, Mecklenburg Resolves, and
Halifax Resolves in a short paragraph. (3 pts)- Create and answer 3 level 2 questions (why or how) dealing with the Revolution. (3

LEVEL 3 (62 pts)- Create an I AM poem from the perspective of a bystander at the Boston Massacre.
Look for the format online. (10 pts)- Complete a character investigation dealing with Thomas Jefferson. (10 pts)- Complete a print document investigation on the Declaration of Independence. (10 pts)- Complete an investigating metadiscourse activity dealing with a quote from Benjamin
Franklin (10 pts)- Go www.classtools.net/fb/home/page. Use this site to complete a Fakebook on John
Adams. He must have 10 friends from the time period. He must have 5 relevant statuses, 3 people post on his wall, 1 relevant youtube clip, and 3 comments on status updates. After finishing this, go to save in the top right. It will give you your own url. Copy and paste the link to your keynote slide. (12 pts)- Complete a problem solution journal dealing with the issues the new nation faced after
getting their independence (10 pts)
