There is a universal language of "SHAPE." Certain archetypal forms of movement may be found in all flowing media, regardless of their composition: water, clouds, sea shells, onions, cracked and dried riverbeds, trees, the human form. A spiral pattern, for example, can be found in water flowing down a drain, the pattern of hair growing from the crown of a child’s head, or a spiral galaxy.
