DESCRIPTION
This research was conducted by InterMedi@KT in January 2014, within the framework of the EU funded project “Young Europeans Startup”, under the Grundtvig Learning Partnership programme and its purpose is to identify the needs of Greek youth, concerning their entrepreneurial aspirations. The target group consisted by young people aged between 16 and 30 years old with more than 80% above 20 years old. All the participants had educational background at least secondary education and their gender was equivalent. The analysis of the results showed that at least three out of four youngsters believe that they haven’t been provided, by the educational system, the necessary training/information, enough to make them entrepreneurs while 85% stated that they would like to attend a relevant seminar. The research also recorded the participant’s point of view concerning several aspects of the competencies that they need in order to become successful entrepreneurs. These records will be considered and used in order to create specific training materials and methods, which will be used in Training Courses during Patras meeting on May 2014.
