Students and parents must first sign Computer Use Agreement.

Students will be issued a laptop that they will take care of for the remainder of the year.

Students and parents will be financially responsible for laptops

Many insurance companies offer an opportunity to include laptop insurance (rider) on your home-owners or renters insurance policy.

State Farm offers insurance for approximately $35/year.

Other opportunities also exist (Safeware, etc.)

After some initial training with the laptops and policy development, students will take laptops home.

Take home policy is not fully developed. Further development of take home policy will include student input.

Students are expected to have their laptop in school everyday!

At New Tech also want to develop a sense of professionalism.

What you wear says something about you.

The results of our survey suggest we adopt the following options:

Ypsilanti Public Schools Dress Code strictly enforced with professional dress on presentation day. AND

Any type of appropriate pants or skirts. Any type of plain shirt with no logos, graphics or text. Professional dress on presentation days.
