(Drawings in gallery space and own photographs of London’s skyline). Draw from observation to inform initial ideas. Create a final piece based on prior research and development work. A01, A02, A03 and A04 Project sheet – surroundings, cultural, religious, growing forms etc. Sketchbook, camera, drawing equipment and worksheet. Canvas (student’s own), Photograph or 3- dimensional materials (such as clay and modroc). Most Should learn How to use the internet and books to inform research that is relevant to the chosen theme of Architecture. Independent study skills Research two artist/Architects and two photographers from list. Using key words and ‘Writing about art ‘sheet – CONTENT, FORM, PROCESS AND MOOD. Work in Art club and outside of school. A01, A02, A03 and A04 Project sheet with named artists/Architects and photographers. This also includes keywords and assessment objectives. Some Could learn Independent research and collection of relevant images and Students visit own choice of galleries and take their own photos of buildings (could be on a holiday in the half-term A01, A02, A03 and A04 Students own (evidence of postcards, sketches and photos)
