Writing Buddies

Writing BuddiesJanuary 31st, 2008 was a special day for Class 3-4.

Children were partnered with an eighth grader in Class 8-2.

The eight graders are mentoring our third grade students by being kind, honest, exemplar editors and role models.

Our students have benefited from this experience. Their writing has become clearer and more rich with detail.

In addition, they have begun a positive and beneficial relationship with an older student.

I hope to continue writing buddies in order to create a warm, safe, and committed friendship between Class 3-4 and 8-2.
