1,532,418 starts collected during a four-year period (2009-2012) the race-related fatal injury was 1.92 per 1,000 starts.

In 2009 the numbers were 2.00 for every 1000 starts

In 2010 it was 1.88 per 1000 for 2010 and 2011

In 2012 it was 1.92 per 1000
