Support meaningful, authentic student learning
How can a LMS do that?

Why would somebody resist online learning?
Building pages can be cumbersomeLinks may be brokenTraining would be necessaryNot all students have computers or internet
accessTeacher feels like they are no longer in controlTeacher is used to direct instructionTeacher is not familiar with technology
Here are some solutions to your hesitation:
The initial work does take time but the payoff for the students is most important
There are a variety of sources that can be used, so assignments can be differentiated and meaningful to the students
A LMS is easy to navigate and much of the training can be done by yourself
The classroom needs to shift towards a student-centered environment
Bottom Line: The benefits for the students far
outweigh any reason not to use
a LMS!!
