Introduction Concept Future’s UsesThe New Idea

Normally, we picture electric devices with wires. For example, laptop, cell phone, lamp etc. Remember every time you travel or at home, you need to pack all the adapters and chargers for your devices. It’s unpractical, isn’t it. The solution is near.

Imagine, a life without wires. All devices in your daily life will charge themselves and function without physical connection!

In the middle of the night, beeped the cell phones from Mr. Soljacic. It's very annoying when your cell phone die in the middle of the night and you have to either get up and charge your phone or you'll have no cell phone or other devices to use in the next day.

And there it is, the idea of having any device charges itself without wires.

There are many method for transmitting power. For example, electromagnetic radiation. But because the electromagnetic radiation sending method is random in every direction which wasted energy. Therefore the better method is called "Magnatically coupled resonance", which send the radiation directly from sender to reciever and loses only 25% and it can travel through obstacles.

The main idea is that the two resonant object are at the same resonant frequency. They tend to exchange energy efficiently without interrupting other object with different frequency.

So, the glass of the corresponding frequency to Aj. Roppon’s voice accumulate sufficient energy to explode.

This is the experiment of the wireless electricity created by MIT

group as the following "Magnetically coupled

resonance", which send the radiation directly from sender to receiver and it can travel through

obstacles.

Nowadays, this technique is not yet implemented but in the near future. We can use this technique in any devices. As shown in the picture, the electromagnetic radiation sender is installed in one point in the house. It can send the radiation to any electronics that have the receiver.

If we apply this idea to the whole city, we might not have to use any wired cable. Moreover, in the future, it would save

the material cost, and

“WE CAN SAVE THE WORLD, YEAH!!!”
