• Assistance-Help from  library staff can improve quality of research• Has knowledgeable reference librarians to help you locate resources. • Availability of historical items-Libraries keep & preserve materials• You are more likely to find academic or scholarly sources. These sources

will most likely be peer-reviewed.• Controlled vocabulary, thesaurus, subject headings
