One thing I know that keeps Great Universities
great is “THEY SELECT THE BEST AND EXPOSE
THEM TO THE BEST FACULTIES”
Today, Nigerians cannot clearly mention the Nigerian
University of first choice. Quite a number would say the
BIG 5 have shown some quality – the BIG 5 being UI, UNN,
ABU, OAU, and UNILAG.
However, can we empirically say Nigerian Universities have
demonstrated relevance and competitiveness in terms of
Selection criteria, Quality learning Infrastructure and
Environment, reputable Alumni, and producer of Captains
of Industry?
THIS PRESENTATION IS FOR ADMINISTRATORS,
PARENTS, STUDENTS & EMPLOYERS – WHERE WOULD
YOU WANT YOUR WARD TO STUDY AMONGST ALL?

The PROGRESSIVE schools selects the best and groomthem with the best curriculum.
If a student really want to learn and be the best; S/heshould find schools the BEST Students choose and try asmuch as possible to get admitted there.
The perfect way to get the best out of our Students is toget the best into them and demand for the best.
There is no +ve correlation between Performance &Application – In 2013, 1.66m Application yielded 11.22%Performance Index. In 2015, 1.46m yielded 30.96%.
Therefore; lowering Cut-off is not a smart way to recruitthe best into our Universities – it negates excellence.
