How Will You Leave Your HEELprint?A successful themed entertainment and attractions venue creates a memorableexperience and makes people want to return to it time after time. -Apogee Attractions 6. What Will You Do?Attend weekly meetings (Check schedule)Plan events within a committee (There are 4 planningcommittees)Set goals for yourselfPut yourself outside of your comfort zoneBlogMake friends/ build a communityHAVE FUN! 7. TCE PillarsAcademic: Connects students to academic supportand broader learning opportunitiesSocial: Connects students with other students aroundcampus and builds the social atmosphereCultural: Connects students with other socialidentitiesService: Connects students to the community andgreater causes through direct support 8. ExpectationsBring your laptop, a pen and paper to every meeting.Respect our guest lecturers by listening attentivelyand asking questions afterwards. 9. Requirements & the fabulous point systemGain points, Get rewardedThe student who achieves the highest point total forthe year will receive top prize. (Well reveal the prizeafter the third checkpoint date)Students who reach 90 points will also receive a prize.Failure to reach the number of points necessary bythe respective deadline will result in removal fromthe program. (Warnings will be issued at the mid-point of each checkpoint date) 10. Requirements (cont.) & the fabulous point systemMeeting Participation: 1 point per meeting (10 pointdeduction for every unexcused absence)Committee Participation: 3 points per semesterGoal Map and reflection pieces: 3 points per piece(required: 9)Pulse checks/Evaluations: 2 points per responseBlogging: 1 3 points per post (required: 60 points)Service: 1 point per hour (required: 24 points) 11. BloggingYou can customize your blogging experienceYou can select any site to host your blog (Suggestionsinclude Tumblr, WordPress or Blogger)You will be required to post within 36 hours of ameeting, or you forfeit your points.Additional points are rewarded for writing about outsideeventsYou will earn 1 point for every substantial comment madeon another students blogThe number of points rewarded is up to my discretionI will select a top post every week that will be added toStudent Life. This person will receive 5 extra points. 12.
