R’n’B magazineTraditionally R’n’B magazine use the colours red, black, white and yellow. This is done to create a bold theme which is also aimed at a more mature market. The bold fonts are used to attract customers to the magazine and to connote feelings of power and strength. Like all magazines there is a masthead, barcode and date which is important information so the magazine can be sold correctly.

Jazz MagazineWhen looking at a jazz magazine there is the main image which portrays a stylish man which fits with the genre of jazz. The cover mainly consists of bold colours such as red, white, blacks and blue. There are only three fonts used which denotes paint on a wall like graffiti which represents an urban feel so its appropriate for the magazines style. Using the traditional conventions of a magazine this magazine consists of a barcode, price and date. The image is a typical half body shot and he is making eye contact with the reader.
