WHAT MEANS – WELL-BEING?

Well-being is a general term for the condition of an individual or group, for example their social, economic, psychological, spiritual or medical state.

High well-being means that, in some sense, the individual or group's experience is positive, while low well-being is associated with negative happenings.

WHAT INFLUENCES WELL-BEING ?

Happy intimate relationship with a partner Network of close friends Enjoyable and fulfilling career Enough money Regular exercise Sufficient sleep Spiritual or religious beliefs Fun hobbies and leisure pursuits Optimistic outlook Realistic and achievable goals Sense of purpose and meaning A sense of belonging The ability to adapt to change
