Book drop in hallway
Fines:
$.10 per day per overdue book.
$3.00 maximum per book.
Charge for lost or damaged books
Your Reading teacher will receive overdue notices for their classes on a regular basis.
Library Rules:
Respect people and property.Food, drinks, & gum are not permitted.Do not re-shelve books unless you use a shelf marker.Quiet is expected.
Seating:
Backpacks on shelves in front-not on floor
4 students per table
Do not move chairs from tables
Keep feet off the chairsYou must be seated unless lookingfor or checking out a book.
Security System:
You must walk through security gate.When a book is checked out, it will be desensitized so that the alarm will not sound.If the alarm sounds when you walk through the gate, step back into the Library so that the problem can be resolved.
Computer Network:
11 computers with:• EPISD Online Catalog
• Gale Databases-magazine and newspaper articles and more
• Encyclopedia Brittanica online
Internet-sign in, needs password
Icon on computers to open catalog to search for books.
Other Equipment:3 computers with Microsoft Office 2007 programs
Printers-black and color laser
Copy machine (with permission)
