• Biology + Chemistry (basic) – 11 years

• Understanding process of photosynthesis (when / gases / reasons for plants and Earth

• Pupil perfectly understood the photosynthesis. Which gases plants need, which gases plants produce and which products plants make for themselves.

• I used this video in HD (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mek8FwFYpqA – only in Czech) and students saw real model of photosynthesis in real time. They saw producing of oxygen when plant was under the lamp light and they saw stopping this producing during time, when plant was in the dark.

• In HD quality, students clearly saw the graph of oxygen producing by plants which was on the screen.

• Best challenge for me is, that I will try to change some of my lessons and I will try do more work with projector.

• In some school lesson in future, we will build model of DNA (same like last year), we will build chart and table with healthy food menu (recommended calories per one day).

• Almost every school lesson shows children a demonstration of biology on video in HD quality.

• „Starting point“ for build our own Future Classroom!!!

• to be better and modern Teachers.

• its definitely necessary to have HD projector in every schools.

• now we have: big white screen with new HD projector in our IT class, in near future we will have many new iPads for kids, new blinds on windows, 3D projection, Lego Mindstorm activities…We build FC and we want be a Leader in modern style of teaching in our town.

• Freiburg and the renewable energy (https://v.gd/rC6eaG)

• Work realised with 3 classes of 13-14 year old students

• It is a cross-curricular work (technology, physics, English and German) on the study of renewable energy and the discovery of the specific case of sustainable urban planning of Freiburg, Germany.

• What was the result? : Students were more involved in their work.

• What was the most surprising thing you learned from this?

• This project has led to greater teachers’ collaboration and projects with more span.

• 1 positive effect of the HD research project : there are more crosscurricular projects, students like it and they work better.

• A challenge of this HD research project was to make the habits of other teachers in my school changed.

• 1 advice to other schools/teachers in relation to HD projection in the classroom : The use of the HD projector makes lessons/projects more lively and interesting for students.

• What will happen next in your classroom/school? :

• Others crosscuricular transnational projects. We’ve started a project with Erasmus+ involving 7 european countries.

• Many students prefer the evaluation of the experiment on the computer / projector.

• Many tables could be displayed at the some time.

• All evaluation tables can be clearly represented.

• Physical education becomes more attractive because the simulations can be created much more appealingly/detailed

• whiteboard or blackboard with full HD projector

• For a good picture quality should not be saved on the whiteboard

• Physics - kids age 13-16years• Great opportunity for motion analysis.• Kids involvement with preparing their own physics experience.

Kids prepared 6 graphs.• The most surprising thing was involvement of kids, who usually

avoid extra work.

• I’ve started to use new technologies in my work.

• I’ve really change my point of view how to teach, how to use new technologies.

• Try, try, try and be courage! HD projector is really easy in use and give lot of possibilities.

• We will have wifi in our school and my classroom will be equipped in 30new tablets for kids.

• Photosynthesis – a chemical reaction.

• Chemistry and biology in 6th grade (age 12).

• Make the photosynthesis visible using the 3D classroom.

• Deeper understanding in the subject.

• Maybe not surprising but it was great to see how the students found it so interesting, all students (even those who usually show low motivation) were involved during the lessons.

• Bigger and better screen making the learning situation much easier.

• Not having the possibilty to write (I could do that with my old equipment) on the screen, which is soft.

• If you have the possibility the HD-projector is great, makes teaching even more fun

• I will share and develop our learning situations with focus on the 3D classroom.

• Rates of Reaction Chemistry, 15-16 Year olds

• Using the HD projector to show a live image of an experiment whilst simulataneously collecting and displaying data in a spreadsheet all-in one window.

• The HD image of the spreadsheet was very clear and the image of the experiment made it easy for students to see the experiment

• Surprise was the difference HD made compared to normal projectors.

• The size and clarity of HD projection is very good.

• Developing a specific scenario to test this to the full.

• Make sure that the installation suits your needs – current models do not have the interactive function.

• Look at other curriculum areas where HD projection could transform lessons e.g. drama, art.
