The term "Web 2.0" describes the changing trends in the use of World Wide Web technology and web design that aim to enhance creativity, communications,
secure information sharing, collaboration and functionality of the web.

What is an Aggregator?
• Aggregators reduce the time and effort needed to regularly check websites for updates, creating a unique information space or "personal newspaper.”
•Once subscribed to a feed, an aggregator is able to check for new content at user-determined intervals and retrieve the update.

Pageflakes•The site is organized into tabs, each tab containing user-selected modules called Flakes.

• According to Wikipedia, “A podcast is a series of digital-media files which are distributed over the Internet using syndication feeds for playback on portable media players and computers.
• Podcasts are audio files that are delivered over the Internet and then played back on a computer or portable audio player.
• Podcasting is a term coined from the combination of “iPod,” a popular digital audio player, and “broadcast. You can subscribe to a podcast feed and then have it automatically delivered to your computer when there is a new episode.

• Its popularity has been fueled by its organization tools, which allow photos to be
tagged and browsed. • It claims to host more than 2 billion images.

Cool TextCool Text is a free graphics generator for web pages and anywhere else you need an
impressive logo without a lot of design work.
WordleGenerate “word clouds” from text that you
provide. The clouds give greater prominence to words that appear more frequently in the source text. You can tweak your clouds with different fonts, layouts, and color schemes.

Picnik is an online photo
editing service. Currently it can import photos natively from
Facebook, Myspace, Picasa
