The young Gretzky spent countless hours on the ice, honing his talents as a skater, shooter and passer. As a result, Gretzky often played in leagues that catered to older boys. The age and size differences between Gretzky and his competition mattered little. In his final year of peewee hockey he scored an improbable 378 goals.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
As a 23-year-old, Gretzky hits the 1,000-point mark in only his sixth NHL season.

On April 2, 1980, at the age of 19 years, two months and seven days, Gretzky nets his 50th goal – making him the youngest player in NHL history to hit the half-hundred mark.

Rules :The rules of hockey are very similar to the rules of football except that players must use sticks instead of their feet to play the ball. There are 11 players on a team made up of a Goalkeeper, Defenders, Midfielders and Attackers. The only player on the field who is allowed to use their feet and hands as well as their stick is the goalkeeper.
Physical Condition: We examined the energy expenditure in ice-hockey players under conditions of a model training match. Other findings (the fat percentage increment) can be explained by a less intensive training, unbalance between performance and nutrition.
