At the end of the first week we placed small fire bricks in the toilet tanks so as to reduce the amount of water used per flush.

Conclusion

Measurements taken during the first week showed that water consumption at our school was about 1m³ per day. After placing the fire bricks in the toilet tank of our school one can notice that water consumption at school was reduced to 0,8 m³ of water per day. We managed to save almost 0,2 m³ of water per day or 2m³ per week!

Placing a fire brick in the toilet tank is a good and clever way to reduce water consumption!
